Welcome to Substack! My title came to me in a similar way, from a photo I took over ten years ago of an old book I found in a charity shop. I asked the universe for help as I struggled in finding a title for my Substack, and a while later I came across the photo by chance. Confirmation shortly follows when the title is mentioned in some TV drama. Possibly coincidence, but I prefer to believe it was a sign, or serendipity at the very least!
That sign is wonderful, as is your rendering of it. How clever to use those multi-meaning words as the tile for this project! Excited to follow along with what you have to share with us.
Giddy about getting to see some of what inspires you! :) And I *love* the layers of meaning behind your title.
My daughter cannot understand why you've left out the apostrophe from 'today's' even if it was omitted from the original. She's angry.
So excited for this Substack!!!! I'm an indie childrens bookseller, and you're one of our favorites! <3
